I have been photojournalist at the Columbus Dispatch since 2008, before that I was studying photojournalism and multimedia at Western Kentucky University.
I was born and raised in Southern California but since I was 18 photography has taken me to many places, including a six-month experience in Quito, Ecuador, which solidified my Spanish skills. I was also an intern at The Burlington (Iowa) Hawk Eye, The Birmingham News and The Los Angeles Times.
I fell in love with watching and documenting people and although my tools have changed, the idea of story telling has not. Whether I'm photographing a wedding, a corporate event or a long term story, video, audio and stills play an important part in a final product that conveys a concise story or message.
When I don't have a camera in my hands I can usually be found in the garden with my husband and our dog. Thank you for your interest. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
